Blog 5 "A photo and its story"

 

The photo I will talk about today was taken by a friend in our “Study Tour” in January 2020, in the city of Castro / Chiloé. The photo was taken while we were taking a boat ride to visit the island and get to know the famous "Palafitos", we even reached the place where a television series was filmed in Chile "Isla Paraíso". The boat ride was guided by a woman who lives in the city, she told us about curious facts and about the history of "El Trauco".

In this photo, you can see a restaurant in the city of Castro built on the wáter. I remember that at that moment some very tender sea lions appeared waiting for a cook from the restaurant who gave them fish to eat every day and the seagulls also waited and flew to steal the fish from the sea lions hahaha. This photo is very beautiful and reminds me of the good times lived in those four days in the south of Chile with my friends.
